Why should you sponsor?

Stem cell donors bring hope to patients in urgent need of life-saving stem cell transplants when there’s no compatible family donor available. Statistically, only 25-30% of patients find a match within their own family, and this challenge is even greater for minority communities, especially among Black individuals.
Since our inception in 2014, we’ve made remarkable strides in our mission to enhance the lives of  patients impacted by leukemia and other blood disorders. We’re thrilled to report that we’ve added over a thousand new potential donors into the Canadian Blood Services Stem Cell Registry. In addition, with the unwavering support of our generous donor community, comprising of compassionate individuals and dedicated businesses, we’ve had the privilege of providing financial assistance to over 50 leukemia patients and their families through our Gift a Patient Program and Emergency Relief Fund programs.
This journey is merely the beginning of what we can achieve through our persistent efforts, and we extend our deepest gratitude to all our supporters who share our unwavering commitment to this noble cause. We firmly believe that, together, we possess the power to effect change in the lives of those facing the challenges of blood cancer.

What your funds do?

Our initiatives bring awareness to the severe under-representation of black and minority stem cell donors in Canada’s national stem cell registry and the urgent need to for higher representation so Black patients in urgent need of a stem cell transplant have a greater chance of finding an unrelated match to help save their lives.

We are a 100% volunteer run organization and are not government funded.

Patient Support

Help with financial grants to cover everyday expenses like rent, mortgage, prescription medication, food and other treatment expenses.

Donor Recruitment

Assists in series of stem cell donor recruitment events across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Fundraising Initiatives

Covers the cost required to support other fundraising and awareness events

Life-Saving Mission

Supports a life-saving mission for local blood cancer patients and their families
